Title Lawyer / Conveyancer – Technical Property Law Role

About the role

This position is with a well‑established property law practice in Woking, focusing exclusively on technical title work. It is ideal for an experienced or semi‑retired conveyancer who enjoys detailed problem‑solving without client‑facing pressures.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse residential property titles, both registered and unregistered.
• Identify and resolve complex title defects, anomalies, and legacy issues.
• Provide clear technical advice to fee earners and partners on easements, covenants, rights of way, restrictions, and leasehold matters.
• Ensure all title work complies with current property law and Land Registry requirements.
• Support high‑risk or complex transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with the conveyancing team while maintaining an autonomous workload.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Conveyancer, Title Lawyer, or Property Solicitor.
• Strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing and title matters.
• Confidence working independently and making sound technical decisions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach.
