Tooling Storekeeper – Hangar, Manchester

About the role

Jet2.com is seeking a dedicated Tooling Storekeeper to join its Hangar team at Manchester Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft tooling is correctly controlled, stored, packed, and readily available to support the engineering department’s high safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Control, store, pack, handle and locate all aircraft tooling in accordance with engineering procedures.
• Carry out routine inspections, perform minor maintenance, and arrange repair or calibration of defective tooling.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and update tooling change bulletins.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely tool availability.
• Uphold the department mission of “Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time”.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities for interaction with multiple teams and suppliers.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced technical environment.
