About the role
We are seeking a Toolroom Engineer to join a fast‑growing aerospace manufacturer with a strong order book. You will play a key role in designing, manufacturing and continuously improving precision tooling that underpins high‑quality production.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair and enhance production tooling to exacting standards.
- Produce precision components with tight tolerances.
- Support new‑product introduction, prototype and small‑batch manufacturing activities.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers on tooling and process improvements.
Required profile
- Experience as a Toolroom Engineer, Toolmaker or Toolroom Technician.
- Proven tool manufacture and repair background.
- Capability in milling, turning or grinding operations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
- Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification.
