Traffic Marshall – Construction Site (Banbury)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Traffic Marshall to join a residential construction project in Banbury. You will be responsible for directing vehicles and heavy machinery, ensuring a safe and efficient flow of traffic on site.

Key responsibilities

• Guide vehicles and plant using hand signals, signs and radios.
• Monitor the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and act promptly to mitigate risks.
• Implement the approved traffic management plan and protect pedestrians at crossing points.
• Assist with site security and deter unauthorised access.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic flow and any incidents.
• Participate in toolbox talks and report safety hazards to site management.

Required profile

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large‑scale construction sites.
• Recent, checkable work reference.
• Proactive approach to site safety and clear communication skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
