Trainee Bus Driver – Full Training & Paid Salary

About the role

Arriva is looking for motivated individuals to join its London bus fleet as Trainee Bus Drivers. No prior driving experience is required – you will receive full, paid training and support to become a qualified driver.

Key responsibilities

• Operate buses on scheduled routes across London, transporting passengers safely and on time.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service, assisting passengers with enquiries and boarding.
• Complete daily paperwork and vehicle checks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum age 18 and a UK driving licence held for at least six months.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence.
