Trainee Dispenser – Pharmacy Advisor (NVQ2) – London

About the role
As a Trainee Dispenser you will join the pharmacy team in a UK store, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will receive full NVQ2 training while building relationships with patients and helping them manage their medicines.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 training programme.
- Dispense prescriptions, label medicines, order stock and manage collection of prescriptions.
- Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist as needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
- Stay updated with store innovations and use new systems to improve patient safety.
- Support patients with repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
Required profile
- Motivation to learn and complete the NVQ2 Dispenser training.
- Current, valid UK right to work (no visa sponsorship).
- Experience in a community pharmacy is desirable but not mandatory.
