About the role

Join Tradewind Recruitment as a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant and start a fast‑paced career matching teachers with schools across the UK. This full‑time position is based in our London head office and offers a clear progression path from trainee to senior consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with teachers, schools and educational institutions.
• Make daily outreach calls to candidates and clients, generating new business opportunities.
• Manage your own desk, matching outstanding educators with suitable school placements.
• Negotiate placement terms and drive revenue for the agency.
• Develop sector expertise to become a trusted market advisor.

Required profile

• Strong drive, resilience and confidence in a target‑oriented environment.
• Proven work ethic and desire to achieve personal and financial success.
• Experience in customer‑facing, sales or competitive sport roles (e.g., retail management, hospitality, call‑centres, estate agency).
• Ability to bounce back quickly from setbacks and maintain motivation.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
