Trainee Mortgage Advisor – Gateshead

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join our Gateshead office. You will work within a well‑established, elite‑status partner firm that supports a team of ten advisors and an administration crew. The role offers a clear pathway from a base salary to high‑earning potential as you develop your mortgage expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advice to clients, matching products to their needs.
• Assess client applications, gather documentation and submit to lenders.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Build and nurture relationships with lenders and other financial partners.
• Meet personal and team sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Fully CeMAP qualified (CeMAP 123) and self‑funded.
• Based within easy reach of Gateshead.
• Committed to a long‑term career in mortgage advisory.
• Enthusiastic about learning, development and high performance.

Required skills

• CeMAP qualification.
