Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our Croydon branch of Connells Group. This position offers a fast‑track entry into mortgage and protection advice for candidates who have completed the CeMAP qualification and are eager to develop a career in financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Estate Agency colleagues to generate new business.
• Generate referrals and maximise opportunities from the agency network.
• Guide customers through the mortgage and protection application process, providing clear advice.
• Continuously develop advisory knowledge through coaching and training.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service while meeting performance targets.

Required profile

• Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Motivated, ambitious and eager to progress in financial services.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
