Trainee Re-Sales Consultant (Shared Ownership)

About the role

SOWN, a team formed from LRG that specialises in selling new-build and re-sale shared ownership homes, is looking for a Trainee Sales Consultant to join its Shared Ownership re-sales team. The role covers the whole of England and involves ringing through new enquiries, dealing with listings and advising buyers and sellers. It is based in Woodley, with a Monday to Friday schedule and every other Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Ring through new enquiries received into the department
• Deal with listing enquiries and listing properties for sale, completing all documentation
• Deliver buyers' affordability assessment results and book property viewings (carrying them out for some stock)
• Attend client virtual or physical meetings and give viewing feedback
• Complete monthly reports for Housing Providers when required
• Handle and agree offers and price reductions
• Advise sellers on Shared Ownership processes and criteria and build relationships with buyers, sellers, Housing Associations and Registered Providers
• Work towards personal and department targets and represent the company professionally

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (required for this role)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and to prioritise
• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills
• Passion for working with the public over the phone and face to face
• Results oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team
