Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Technology Recruitment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join Virtus Talent’s technology recruitment team in Leeds. You will receive structured training, mentorship and the chance to build your own client and candidate portfolio within fast‑growing sectors such as AI, machine learning, software and semiconductors.

Key responsibilities

• Source and headhunt high‑quality candidates for specialist technology roles.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support senior consultants on active mandates and learn best‑practice recruitment techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide market insights.
• Build knowledge of high‑growth technology markets and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B or B2C sales, preferably with a proven record of meeting targets.
• University degree or equivalent education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Motivation to progress within a recruitment career.
