HR Advisor – Part‑time Fixed‑term Role in Leeds

About the role

This part‑time HR Advisor position supports a leading professional services organisation in Leeds. Working 28 hours across four days, the role is fixed‑term for 18 months and focuses on delivering HR policy guidance, onboarding and employee‑relations support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review HR policies and procedures, recommending updates as needed.
• Assist HR Business Partners and Senior Advisors with administration, including process initiation forms, letters and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Deliver weekly induction sessions for new starters, covering policies, procedures and benefits.
• Provide accurate advice on family‑leave policies such as maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
• Analyse trends from the HR inbox and casework, perform root‑cause analysis and develop solutions.
• Manage the UK HR inbox, triage queries and serve as the primary source of line‑manager advice.
• Coach line managers on effective communication and problem resolution.
• Partner with line managers on employee‑relations casework and support HR Business Partners on people projects and calendar activities.

Required profile

• Experience in a professional‑services environment with exposure to HR Advisor‑level responsibilities.
• Proven ability to handle policy‑related queries and work with case‑management or ticketing platforms.
• Strong confidence and HR knowledge to manage complex queries and provide stakeholder advice.
