Trainee Site Manager – Electrical (Healthcare Projects)

About the role

This is a 12‑month trainee programme designed for electricians or electrical engineers who want to move into site management within a specialist healthcare construction contractor. You will work on hospital refurbishments, imaging suites and complex live‑environment projects while still carrying out hands‑on electrical installation work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced Site Managers with day‑to‑day coordination of subcontractors and site operations.
• Remain hands‑on with electrical installation on smaller projects.
• Support health and safety management and maintain site documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries, logistics and labour requirements.
• Attend client meetings and help maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Travel nationwide with accommodation provided.

Required profile

• Holder of a 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
• Strong construction site experience in electrical work.
• Motivated to progress into a Site Manager role.
• Willingness to work on healthcare construction projects across the UK.
