Trainee Supervisor / Duty Manager

About the role

Specsavers in Crawley is looking for a Trainee Supervisor / Duty Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of the store while developing leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management team by coordinating daily workflow and motivating colleagues.
• Maintain high standards across the store, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Assist customers with frame and lens selection, dispensing advice, spectacle collections, fittings, adjustments and repairs.
• Handle after‑care appointments, manage appointments, respond to enquiries and process transactions.
• Keep the store organised and support operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous team‑leader or supervisor experience in a front‑facing customer service environment (mandatory).
• Can‑do attitude and ability to embody the Specsavers values: helpful, attentive, friendly, professional, people‑focused and enthusiastic.
• Growth mindset, strong communication and a positive outlook.
