Transactional Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Transactional Finance Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the finance function for a well‑established international business based in Colnbrook. The role will work closely with senior management to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Department and manage a small finance team.
• Manage full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles.
• Supervise sales ledger, billing and credit control processes.
• Liaise with senior management and external accountants.
• Process sales and purchase invoices.
• Resolve account queries and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Produce and analyse profit and loss statements, aged debtor reports, budgets and payroll data.
• Prepare regular financial reports and provide updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• AAT qualification or equivalent accounting experience preferred.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
