Transactions Tax Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking accountancy and business advisory firm that supports high‑growth UK companies. As a Transactions Tax Manager / Senior Manager you will work within the Business Tax team, advising on M&A transactions and delivering tax compliance and strategic advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on high‑profile M&A tax matters, including structuring and due diligence.
• Oversee tax compliance for a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Deliver strategic tax advisory solutions to entrepreneurs, owner‑managed businesses and PE‑backed groups.
• Manage client relationships, billing and cash collection.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and contribute to new business development.
• Support the growth and development of the wider tax team.

Required profile

• Strong, up‑to‑date technical knowledge of corporate taxation.
• Proven experience advising entrepreneurs, owner‑managed businesses and PE‑backed groups.
• Expertise in M&A tax matters (structuring, due diligence, buy‑side/sell‑side).
• Experience managing a client portfolio.
• Ability to deliver both compliance and advisory services efficiently.
• CTA, ACA (or equivalent) qualified or degree educated.
