Transport Operator – Logistics & Planning

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Transport Operator to join our Leeds team. You will support the transport planning function, ensuring smooth daily operations and high‑quality service for customers and drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the transport planning team to meet delivery targets.
• Analyse logistics data to spot trends and inform decisions.
• Maintain relationships with customers and drivers, addressing issues promptly.
• Use IT systems such as TOPS, VBS, Excel and Word to keep accurate records and produce reports.
• Assist transport planners with communications and real‑time operational decisions, including delay resolution.
• Work in line with the company’s mission of Honesty, Transparency and Unity.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Quick adaptability to new software and technologies.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to manage expectations.
