Transport Support and Enforcement Officer (TSE1)

About the role

Transport Support and Enforcement Officers (TSE1) provide a visible, uniformed presence across the TfL network, ensuring safety and compliance with transport regulations. Working within the Security, Policing and Enforcement Directorate, you will enforce rules, carry out vehicle and ticket checks, and collaborate with policing partners and local authorities to maintain a secure environment for passengers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a reassuring, uniformed presence on TfL services.
• Enforce transport rules and regulations, including ticket inspection and vehicle checks.
• Work closely with TfL security, policing partners, local authorities, and other enforcement teams.
• Respond to incidents, defuse difficult situations, and make informed decisions using sound judgement.
• Operate on varied shift patterns, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

• Permanent operational grade position with a salary of £37,224 per annum.
• Additional non‑consolidated shift allowance of up to 15%.
