Travel Administrator – Japanese Speaker (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Travel Administrator who is fluent in Japanese to support travellers exploring Japan. The role is temporary, full‑time and based in Bristol, working Friday to Tuesday with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with Japanese suppliers via fax, telephone and email.
• Coordinate with the Customer Experience Team on client issues.
• Record actions in TESS, our ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot service disruptions such as earthquakes or typhoons.
• Liaise with service providers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Research and onboard new restaurant and experience suppliers.
• Respond to simple customer enquiries when appropriate.

Required profile

• Passion for helping people and a proactive improvement mindset.
• Professional communication skills with suppliers.
• Overseas living or work experience.
• Background in customer service.
• Strong interest in travel and tourism.
• Experience using databases, CRM or reservation systems.
• Native‑level Japanese with business‑level English (TOEIC 750+) or native‑level English with near‑native Japanese (JLPT N1).
