Travel Expert – Cambridge (NZ)

About the role

As a Travel Expert you will help customers turn their travel dreams into reality by designing personalised itineraries and providing expert advice on flights, accommodation, cruises, tours and travel insurance. You will be the friendly face that welcomes clients, listens to their needs and builds lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build customised travel itineraries that match customer preferences and budgets.
• Provide informed recommendations across a range of travel products including flights, hotels, cruises, tours and insurance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening, respectful communication and a positive attitude.
• Prepare invoices, manage bookings and operate the company’s booking systems efficiently.
• Handle multiple client interactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

• Passionate about travel and recognised by friends as a go‑to source for travel advice.
• Innovative thinker who seeks new ways to solve travel challenges.
• Sales‑driven with a focus on meeting KPIs and achieving targets.
• Highly organised and able to manage time effectively.
• Comfortable multitasking between front‑of‑house client service and back‑office booking tasks.
