Treasury Manager – Capital (London)

About the role

This position sits within a specialised capital management team at a leading global financial institution in London. You will translate high‑level capital strategy into practical outcomes, working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) documentation and related framework documents.
• Collaborate with Commodities, Global Markets, Risk Management, Finance and Engagement teams to set capital strategy and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Review models and data for stress‑testing and sensitivity analysis, providing insights to senior committees.
• Plan and facilitate workshops to align stakeholder priorities and develop actionable recommendations.
• Present complex financial information clearly to senior forums.
• Support daily monitoring of capital positions for European regulated entities.
• Assess new business proposals for capital impact and optimisation potential.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of European capital adequacy regulations (CRD, CRR) and apply them across activities.
• Contribute to improvements in reporting processes, governance frameworks and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum four years’ experience in financial services, preferably within treasury or prudential risk environments.
• Experience producing or reviewing ICAAP documentation is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proven project‑management skills, handling multiple dependencies and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain intricate concepts to senior audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
