UI/UX Designer

About the role

Huel is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join its Birmingham office alongside the Engineering team, on a hybrid basis of 2-3 days per week in the office. The designer shapes the digital customer experience across the e-commerce platform, working on real projects from landing pages and product pages through to checkout flows and the customer account area.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise experiences across the full customer journey, from landing and product pages through to checkout, post-purchase, account areas and internal tools
• Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Creative and Content teams to bring digital features to life
• Contribute to and help maintain the design system
• Run or support UX research and usability testing to understand customer pain points and motivations
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, data and user insights
• Help shape enhancements that support conversion, average order value and retention

Required profile

• Around 2-4 years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally in an e-commerce, DTC or conversion-focused environment
• A strong portfolio showing measurable improvements in CVR, AOV or retention
• Comfortable working across the UX process, from research and discovery through to design and iteration
• Bonus: experience collaborating with growth, performance marketing or CRO teams
