UK Retail & Franchise Marketing Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, Europe, this role is the marketing heartbeat of the UK business and a visible ambassador for the iSmash brand. It supports both the company-owned iSmash estate and the Pocket Geek franchise network while helping to migrate to a single iSmash brand. The position is based in the London office with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) and regular travel across UK retail and franchise locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver local store marketing activity, campaigns and promotions that attract new customers and encourage repeat visits.
• Work with retail leaders to turn insight into clear marketing actions, and support customer engagement across digital, social, promotional and in-store channels.
• Support 30+ company-owned stores and around 18 franchise locations with practical, consistent and commercially focused marketing plans.
• Build positive relationships with franchise partners and help support the transition to a single iSmash brand.
• Visit stores regularly to gather insight and measure marketing impact against KPIs such as footfall, revenue contribution, customer engagement and brand execution.

Required profile

• Experience in retail, franchise, multi-site, omnichannel or local marketing.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, retail leaders, franchise partners and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills, independent work and clear communication and problem-solving.
• A degree or formal marketing qualification is helpful but not essential; equivalent experience is valued.
• Regular travel to retail and franchise stores and partners is required.

Required skills

• Understanding of how online and offline channels work together, including local campaigns, digital activity, social media, promotions and in-store execution.
• Using customer, campaign or commercial insight to shape marketing recommendations.
