About the role

This is a term‑time only position for an Unqualified English Teacher in a high‑achieving mixed secondary school (11‑18) in Havering. You will use your English degree to support planning and deliver engaging lessons for students from Year 7 to Year 13, gaining hands‑on classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

Support the English department by assisting with lesson planning and delivery across KS3‑KS5.
Teach engaging English lessons to Year 7‑Year 13 pupils.
Help manage classroom behaviour and support student development.
Collaborate with experienced teachers to refine teaching strategies.

Required profile

Recent English graduate with a strong desire to become a qualified teacher.
Confident, enthusiastic and able to work with a diverse student body.
Committed to professional growth and willing to undertake teacher training in the future.
