About the role

Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Blackpool who are looking for confident and enthusiastic Unqualified Secondary Supply Teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a high standard of education and care.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups.

Required profile

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience working with children or young people is preferred, but not essential.
• Confidence and enthusiasm when supporting secondary‑aged students.
• A genuine interest in education and personal development.
• Flexibility and reliability to cover short‑term and long‑term placements.
