Vehicle Booking Agent

About the role

Davies Group is seeking a Vehicle Booking Agent to join its Vehicle Replacement Group in Solihull. The role involves handling vehicle hire requests, communicating sensitively with parties involved in car accidents, and supporting the processing and assessment of insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Process vehicle hire requests from corporate clients using the in‑house system and meet agreed SLA targets.
• Book and arrange delivery of hire vehicles through the company’s preferred supply chain.
• Manage a caseload of claims, coordinating telephone contact and updates with clients, insurers and third‑party providers.
• Maintain accurate records of claim status and hire decisions.
• Provide advice to clients on claim progress and additional services.
• Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory procedures.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy administration or customer‑service environment.
• Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to organise own workload.
• Quick learner with a natural aptitude for understanding processes and technical information.
• Background in insurance or credit‑hire is desirable but not essential.
• Good overall competence with technology, including Microsoft Office.
