Control Centre Operator – Traffic Management (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join SRL Traffic Systems' REMOS team in Solihull as a Control Centre Operator, helping keep traffic moving safely and efficiently. This part‑time, shift‑based role involves monitoring live traffic data and responding quickly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live traffic conditions using cameras, mapping software, and real‑time data.
• Identify congestion, incidents, and potential issues early.
• Respond quickly and decisively to maintain safe traffic flow.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
• Analyse traffic data to support continuous improvement.
• Provide general administrative support.

Required profile

• Enjoy working with live systems and data in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong IT and computer skills (experience with live systems, monitoring, or gaming environments is a plus).
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Control‑room, monitoring, or operations experience (desirable but not essential).
