Vehicle Technician – After‑sales Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealer’s after‑sales team in Dartford. The role offers a clear progression path towards workshop management and provides the chance to work with a respected automotive brand.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Complete jobs within manufacturer‑set timings to maintain productivity.
• Produce accurate diagnostic reports and document all work performed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Mentor and support fellow technicians as needed.
• Develop towards assistant manager responsibilities.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in a prestige dealership or similar environment.
• Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service standards.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Full UK driving licence.
• High‑Voltage (EV/Hybrid) training preferred.

Required skills
