Vehicle Technician – Full‑time, £30‑40k, Manchester

About the role

Join a respected independent automotive retailer in Manchester, working in a modern, well‑equipped workshop that services a wide range of premium and mainstream vehicles. The position offers a stable, full‑time permanent contract with a supportive environment and clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Replace cambelts, clutches, brakes, steering and suspension components.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and execute effective repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer safety standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
