Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer (Tunbridge Wells)

About the role

Our client, a busy main dealer in Tunbridge Wells, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their experienced service team. The role involves delivering high‑quality maintenance and repair work while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance such as servicing, brake pad and disc replacement, and exhaust work to enhance vehicle performance and longevity.
• Produce accurate cost, time and effort estimates for repairs and keep the service team updated.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose faults.
• Diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Schedule future maintenance and advise motorists on optimal vehicle use.
• Maintain detailed logs of work performed and issues identified.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Own tools (desirable).
• Experience in an independent garage or Fast Fit environment.
