Vehicle Technician – MOT Tester Training

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs such as clutch and timing belt replacements.
• Conduct diagnostics on vehicle electrical, braking, steering and suspension systems.
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards once qualified.
• Deliver routine servicing and a wide range of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in a workshop.
• Full driver’s licence with no more than 9 penalty points.
• Proven ability to undertake diagnostic work and complex repairs.
• Willingness to complete MOT Tester training and qualification.
