Vehicle Technician - Multi-Brand Workshop

About the role

Esplanade, a Van Mossel Automotive Group dealership in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, is looking for a Vehicle Technician. You will work across six brands (Volvo, Škoda, CUPRA, SEAT, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Smart) carrying out pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing, maintenance and repairs, and keeping accurate job records in line with manufacturer, warranty and health and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, reporting issues to the workshop controller and doing extra work advised by managers or advisors
• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment and follow brand guidelines
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain warranty procedures and quality standards
• Make sure vehicles meet industry safety standards when returned to customers and record any faults on job cards

Required profile

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician; main dealer experience is an advantage
• NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, inclusive attitude and professional, customer-focused approach

• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Skilled in servicing and repair work
