Verification Test Engineer

About the role

CoMind is developing non‑invasive neuromonitoring technology for clinical brain monitoring. As a Verification Test Engineer you will design, execute and document verification and validation activities across hardware, software and system levels to support FDA clearance and CE marking.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and run test protocols for hardware, software and system‑level verification.
• Develop and qualify test methods, equipment and fixtures, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Analyse test results, report anomalies, and collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve non‑conformances.
• Author verification reports for design history files and regulatory submissions.
• Support system integration testing and contribute to risk management under ISO 14971.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in verification or test engineering for complex hardware/software systems.
• Background in a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive) with knowledge of design control requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document non‑conformances and root‑cause analyses.

Required skills

• Python programming for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience with requirements management and test management tools.
• Hardware‑in‑the‑loop and software‑in‑the‑loop testing for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 14971, ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards.
• Knowledge of optical/photonic or biomedical hardware testing.
