Vice President, Healthcare Commercial Payments

About the role

The Vice President, Healthcare Commercial Payments will lead Mastercard’s expansion of healthcare payment solutions outside the United States. Reporting to the SVP of Healthcare Commercial Payments, the role is based in London and is responsible for shaping strategy, driving revenue and building partnerships across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize target markets and payment flows for Mastercard’s healthcare portfolio outside the U.S.
• Drive adoption of existing payment products and support the development of new solutions.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare ecosystem partners, platforms, fintechs and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regional and product teams to commercialise scalable healthcare payment offerings.
• Lead business development and go‑to‑market activities with external customers.
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert on healthcare and champion the sector as a strategic priority.
• Provide mentorship, guidance and thought leadership to the healthcare team operating outside the U.S.
• Influence senior leadership with insights and recommendations to drive outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven ability to make decisions with imperfect information and accept accountability.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare markets outside the United States.
• Track record of generating revenue from top‑of‑funnel to closed deals in healthcare or technology business development.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into measurable results.
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and external customers.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring high‑performing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
