VP Finance, Europe

About the role

AXS is seeking a commercially‑mind​ed, people‑focused VP Finance for Europe. Based in London and travelling across the region, you will lead the finance function during a period of rapid growth, shaping strategy for a leading live‑entertainment ticketing and technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for finance across the UK, France, Germany and Sweden.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, payroll, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Develop and mentor high‑performing finance teams in multiple countries, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Partner with the Managing Director, Europe and the European senior leadership team to influence business strategy, identify growth opportunities and drive commercial performance.
• Report to the Global Head of Finance and ensure robust controls, governance and financial performance across all European markets.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, preferably within a multinational or fast‑growing environment.
• Proven track record of managing finance functions across several countries.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of advising C‑level executives.
