Vulnerable Client Lawyer (Solicitor or CILEX) – Hybrid

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to specialise in vulnerable client work within a respected South East law firm. You will join a supportive team handling complex cases that make a real difference to individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Court of Protection matters of varying complexity.
• Advise clients on care fee funding and NHS Continuing Healthcare claims.
• Prepare wills, complex wills and Advance Directives.
• Provide guidance on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients and families.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced specialist team.
• Visit clients, care homes and other external locations as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX member.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant legal experience (flexible).
• Background in Private Client, Court of Protection, LPAs or related areas.
• Ability to manage matters with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Compassionate, professional approach with a genuine interest in vulnerable client work.
