Waiter/Waitress – Cafe Boheme (Central London)

About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Cafe Boheme, you will deliver refined, attentive, and personalised service to members and guests of Soho House. Working closely with floor and kitchen teams, you will ensure a smooth dining experience that reflects the club’s standards of professionalism and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, introduce menus and engage immediately upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, noting any allergies or dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain proactive table service, topping up water, wine and beverages throughout the visit.
• Set up, reset and keep tables and the dining area pristine.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations with flexibility.
• Process payments via card, the Soho House App or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially with VIPs and PWKs.
• Participate in briefings, tastings and support colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in a high‑end dining environment.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume settings while remaining calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Demonstrated competency in delivering attentive, personalised service.
