Warehouse Manager – Senior Supervisor Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Senior Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast‑paced distribution centre. Reporting to the Warehouse & Operations Manager, you will ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day warehouse activities, ensuring safe and efficient work.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to meet operational targets.
• Conduct daily briefings covering priorities, workload and health & safety updates.
• Plan and allocate resources to match customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Monitor picking, packing and dispatch processes for accuracy and service level compliance.
• Oversee stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
• Coach staff, manage performance and support development.
• Coordinate collections and outbound deliveries with transport providers.
• Investigate operational issues and implement productivity improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety legislation.
• Complete end‑of‑day checks to secure the warehouse for the next shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
• Proven ability to lead a team and achieve daily targets.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and quality standards.
• Experience planning resources and managing inventory control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and transport partners.
