Warehouse Operative – Chilled Goods

About the role

Join Randstad RIS as a Warehouse Operative in a chilled depot, picking essential products such as meat, dairy, juices and beverages. You will work in a temperature‑controlled environment (3‑5°C) and help keep stores stocked for customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and assemble orders for Sainsbury's stores, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Operate low‑level order pickers (LLOP) and powered pallet trucks (PPT) safely.
• Maintain high standards of product condition and hygiene.
• Follow health and safety procedures in a cold‑store setting.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in a chilled warehouse (warm layers provided).
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to commit to 5 shifts per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Good communication skills for teamwork.

Required skills

• Operation of Low‑Level Order Pickers (LLOP).
• Operation of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT).
