Warehouse Operative & FLT Driver – Counterbalance & Reach

About the role

This temporary position in Stretford involves ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse, from receipt to storage and dispatch. You will operate both counterbalance and reach forklifts while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from lorries and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate counterbalance and reach trucks in line with safety procedures.
• Pick pallets, pack, label and prepare orders for internal use, customer collection, or dispatch.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods against delivery notes and quality standards.
• Record stock movements and maintain accurate inventory in the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt.
• Assist with continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Required profile

• Valid external FLT Counterbalance & Reach licence.
• Ability to work 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
• Immediate start availability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to health & safety.

Required skills

• Forklift (counterbalance) operation.
• Reach truck operation.
• ERP system usage for stock control.
• Computer order processing and label generation.
