Warehouse Operative – FLT Reach & Counterbalance

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our high‑performing goods in/out team at our Westhoughton site. The role is hands‑on, focused on moving stock safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health & safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage goods‑in and goods‑out processes, including picking, packing and dispatch.
• Operate FLT Reach forklifts and, where required, Counterbalance forklifts.
• Maintain safe and efficient stock movement throughout the warehouse.
• Take ownership of Goods In procedures and uphold health & safety standards.
• Meet and exceed daily KPIs while supporting the wider warehouse team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment (goods‑in preferred).
• Valid FLT Reach licence (Counterbalance licence advantageous or willingness to undertake a funded course).
• Strong work ethic, reliability and physical fitness for standing throughout shifts.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.

• Salary £27,000‑£28,000 DOE plus performance bonuses
