Warehouse Operative – Full‑time, £30k, Tonbridge

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Warehouse Operatives for a permanent, full‑time position in Tonbridge. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching customer orders within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, offering a stable weekday‑only schedule and a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Transport picked items to the packing area with warehouse trolleys.
• Pack, seal and label orders for dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading lorries.
• Operate forklifts where required.
• Achieve productivity targets of 40 picks per hour and 55 packs per hour.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures and keep the workplace clean.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse experience (essential).
• Comfortable using handheld scanning devices.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Must wear safety boots and high‑visibility clothing.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Handheld scanner operation.
• Forklift operation.
• Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable).
• Reach‑truck forklift licence (desirable).
