Warehouse Operative – Picking, Packing, Goods In & Returns

About the role

A recruiter is looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join a team in Wrexham on a temporary ongoing basis. The work is Monday to Friday, with immediate starts available, and pays £12.71 per hour. The role covers picking, packing, goods in and returns.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Process goods in and check incoming stock
• Handle and process returned goods
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Check quantities, product details and order information
• Use basic computer systems to process and update orders
• Maintain accurate warehouse records
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe, following health and safety procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets

Required profile

• At least 1 year of recent warehouse experience (essential)
• Previous experience in goods in and/or returns is highly desirable
• Experience of picking, packing and dispatch operations
• Reliable, punctual, with good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Clean criminal record, as a DBS check is required

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
