Warehouse Order Checker

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Order Checker to join our client’s team in Bedford. You will ensure that customer orders are accurately checked before dispatch, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Check picked customer orders against original requirements.
• Verify correct products, quantities, and label accuracy.
• Inspect pallets for correct presentation and damage.
• Print and apply customer‑specific labels.
• Complete despatch checks and apply relevant labels.
• Prioritise workload to meet courier collections and same‑day orders.
• Report picking errors to supervisors and relevant teams.
• Wrap and rework pallets when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Support other warehouse areas, including despatch and goods‑in, as needed.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse, order checking, picking, packing, or dispatch experience is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the full shift.
• Good level of English to read and understand instructions.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.

• Competitive hourly rate of £15.00.
• Full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday shift (11:00 am – 8:00 pm).
