Warehouse Sorter – Parcel Handling

About the role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Warehouse Sorter, handling parcels in a fast‑paced environment at the Stakehill Industrial Estate in Manchester. You will play a key part in ensuring parcels are loaded, sorted and ready for delivery, contributing to the smooth operation of one of the UK’s leading express delivery networks.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and load parcels from delivery vehicles.
• Sort parcels to the correct delivery routes and prepare trailers for onward transport.
• Provide a friendly, dependable service to customers, whether handling birthday gifts or business mail.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (Category B up to 3.5t) with no more than 6 points.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Friendly, dependable, customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

What we offer

• Starting salary £25,201 per year (£12.71 hour) rising to £27,561 after 6 months and up to £30,000 with overtime.
