Warehouse Training Lead

About the role

If you love seeing people grow and get a real buzz from helping them succeed, this role is for you. As the Warehouse Training Lead you will design and deliver training that makes a genuine difference to staff across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional training and handle training administration across the site.
• Run candidate assessments, give feedback to drivers and managers, and record clear judgements.
• Maintain compliance by keeping the Site Matrix (training records) up to date.
• Create, update and regularly review SSOWs and SOPs.
• Contribute to the site’s continuous improvement plan and shape training metrics.
• Plan, schedule and communicate appointments and assessment activity.
• Act as the site’s First Aider trainer, working with Health & Safety.

Required profile

• Training qualification (PTLLS, AET) and/or assessor qualification (A1, Assessor Award).
• Experience developing training programmes and delivering qualifications such as NVQs or Apprenticeships.
• 3PL experience and practical knowledge of SOPs.
• Organised, accurate and excellent communication skills.
• Confident decision‑making and creative problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office.
• Project‑management Microsoft programmes (e.g., MS Project).
