About the role
We are seeking a Waste Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Elton, Cheshire. This hands‑on, physically demanding role involves working outdoors in a yard environment with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the baler machine safely and efficiently.
- Sort, handle and process recyclable materials.
- Clear waste and recycling from the yard area.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general recycling yard duties as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, production or yard environments (desirable but not essential).
- Comfortable undertaking manual labour and working outdoors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and health‑and‑safety conscious.
Required skills
- Baler operation.
