Web Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a technical Web Administrator to ensure our websites run smoothly, securely and at peak performance. You will own the health of the web platforms while working closely with a dynamic marketing team. The role offers flexibility with hybrid work at our Hampshire office or fully remote across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine platform maintenance, monitor downtime and manage security patches.
• Collaborate on web development projects, conduct cross‑browser and device testing, and support creative enhancements.
• Partner with the Digital Team to review Google Search Console, manage core web vitals and implement technical SEO improvements.
• Administer domains, hosting environments, SSL certificates and third‑party tools such as Cloudflare and Campaign Monitor.
• Handle API integrations, data feeds and ensure robust website security, including bot traffic analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Web Administrator or in a similar technical web operations role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with marketing and development teams.
• Excellent communication skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript troubleshooting.
• Web security principles, vulnerability management, SSL/hosting configuration.
• Technical SEO, Google Search Console, GA4.
• Domain and hosting administration, Cloudflare, Campaign Monitor.
• Experience with ExpressionEngine CMS, reCAPTCHA and API integrations.
