Weekend Housekeeper

About the role

ABM UK is looking for a reliable Weekend Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across its client facilities in Londonderry. The role is part‑time, working Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of offices, restrooms, hallways and common areas during weekends.
• Follow ABM UK protocols and client specifications to ensure high‑standard results.
• Maintain and organise cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or faults.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed.
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality while carrying out duties.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision to meet time‑frame targets.
• Collaborate with other facility staff to support seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, especially in a facilities services environment.
• Ability to work weekends consistently and reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for lifting and moving equipment.
• Excellent time‑management and independent work skills.
• Positive, professional attitude and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
