Weekend Housekeeper

About the role
Join Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes as a Weekend Housekeeper, working 16 hours each week to keep a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Your shifts run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, supporting a range of mental health services, including specialist deaf and emergency admissions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning and general housekeeping duties across bedrooms, en‑suite facilities, and communal areas such as the gym, laundry, kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the site.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is clean and well‑maintained.
- Follow safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
Required profile
- Friendly, conscientious and positive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations is desirable.
